Yorkshire and Humber Python User Group
We are the Yorkshire and Humber Python user group, or YPy for short. We hold monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month. Our meetings usually follow the format of one or two short talks, followed by a trip to the pub. Everyone of any background is welcome to come to a meeting, even if you’ve barely used Python we promise you’ll enjoy yourself

Re: The Yorkshire and Humber Python User Group
Hi Andrew
You're more than welcome to come! We're quite mindful of folk who are not familiar with python.
Our next meeting is tomorrow evening at the Old BBC broadcasting house, and I'll be talking about Lamson, a Python email application server, and I'll aim to make it accessible for those with little python experience.
Re: The Yorkshire and Humber Python User Group
Hi Andrew,
We certainly aim to be friendly to everyone! Some of the conversation might be quite technical, but you can always ask questions.
Come along on Thursday and find out!
Peter
Re: The Yorkshire and Humber Python User Group
Is the meeting open/friendly to non python users? I'd like to get into python sometime soon but I've had zero experience. Should I come along?
